When books are purchased directly from L.L. Southard Publishing using  the address wayfaring.assist@mailbox.org,  we collect and process the following information: Name and address, email address, details of your order


How we get the personal information and why we have it

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you in order for us to process and deliver your order. We do not share this information with anyone.


Lawful basis

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this informati0n are:   Your Consent--The reason we use this basis is that you give us consent to use your data when you buy a book from the Wayfaring website. We process your information to send you a book. We shall continue to store your information for 3 years. We do not share your information with third parties. You can remove your consent at any time by contacting wayfaring.assist@mailbox.org.    Contractual Obligation--We have a contractual obligation to supply you with a book once we have received your payment    Legal Obligation--We have a legal obligation to pay taxes correctly. We must maintain a list of clients with name, address, and purchases for tax inspections in line with the regulations of the Irish Revenue Commissioners. This information will be retained for 3 years. This data is not shared with third parties


How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on computer and physical copy. We keep order information for 3 years. We will then dispose of your information by deleting digital files and shredding physical files.

Your right to rectification--You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to object to processing--You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
